Take a look at my pictures from my Bangladesh adventure. I traveled from Dhaka to Purijpol by boat, then to Kulna by bus. After having lunch with a family I met on the bus, I traveled by train to “North Bengal.” I visited Dinijpur and checked out the Krishna Temple and Rajbari compound, a British leftover. I also took a bus trip to the hard-to-find Khantajee Temple, built in the 1750s. On my last day I ventured all the way to the border with India. Here are some relevant videos:

My thoughts after making it to the border

It was an immensely rewarding experience. The Bangladeshis I met were warm and kindhearted. They were also incredibly poor. I often felt guilty that I won the humanity lottery and was born in the United States.
