Sad indictment of the profligacy of bowl games. If the right teams don’t win this weekend, there won’t be enough qualified teams to fill up the 26 bowl games. Even if enough teams qualify, many games will feature 6-5 and even 6-6 teams. Who wants to watch an exercise in mediocrity?
